The Southwest Iowa Seniors, known as the Wobblies, had 88 golfers participate in their event here on Monday morning, May 11.
Golf course superintendent Craig Connell's 2026 staff includes Leroy Whitehill, Gary Faulk, Joe Connell, Greg Scott, John Connell, Brian Larson, Michael Blane, Ayden Johnson, and Logan Twyman. The course is in great shape and with this team we know it will only get better. Thanks for all of your hard work, guys!
Upcoming events at the SGC include: 1) Memorial Day Monday, May 25th – Flag prizes all day. 2) Shenandoah Fire Department's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, May 30. Entry fee is $200 for a four-person team with proceeds going to the Brush Truck Fund. Registration and lunch start at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11.
