The winner there plays the winner of Fremont-Mills and Griswold Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the second round.
Sidney hosts Hamburg Monday, Oct. 19, in the first round. The Cowgirls swept the Wildcats earlier this season.
A win there likely sends Sidney to Westwood in round two Wednesday, Oct. 21. The Rebels, who are just above .500 on the season, host Heartland Christian in the first round.
The two second round winners just mentioned meet Monday, Oct. 26, in a regional semifinal.
The regional final is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28. Seventh-ranked Dunkerton is the region’s top seed. The Raiders have a bye in the first round.
