Since Nov. 11, 2023, Angie Lopez has been recovering from a traumatic brain injury and broken bones. "We 110% believe that was the turning point for Angie, when she felt her dog," Alex Lopez said of his sister. "It seemed like every day after she saw her dog, it was a reason for her to get going."
