Video: Railroad bridge partially collapsed in Big Sioux River
Some stranded residents were rescued by boat as the swollen river overwhelmed levees in low-lying areas, flooding multiple homes and streets.
"It was an amazing feat of nature how fast that water rose from the Big Sioux River and the amount of debris that was coming down," said Lou Ann Lindblade, who said the Sioux City Railroad Museum's entire yard is under water.Â
Residents of North Sioux City and McCook Lake, South Dakota cope with flooding from the Big Sioux and Missouri Rivers.Â
